Itinerary
Day 1:Arrival at Srinagar
you can easily arrive to Srinagar(the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir) by a flight. Srinagar literally meaning 'the city of wealth & abundance' in Sanskrit.Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, Lake side views, splendid sunsets, greenish landscape, Mughal Gardens, Shankaracharya temple , Dal Lake etc are the must watch sites of Srinagar.
Day 02 : Drive Srinagar - Gulmarg – Srinagar
From Srinagar its time now to enter into the Meadows of flower –Gulmarg, one of the most silent valley of Kashmir. It is world wide famous for its snowfall and an ultimate destination for skiing sports.
Khilanmarg is a very popular spot for skiing in winters.
Alpather Lake, alpine lake, Golf Courses etc are some other major attraction of the city.
It provide huge platform for number of adventurous sports like trekking, horse riding and skiing.
After a full day ride around gulmarg, get back to Srinagar again.
Day 03: Drive Srinagar - Sonamarg – Srinagar
Sonamarg is the meadow of gold. It is about 80 km from Srinagar, located on the bank of river Sindh with the back drop of Zojila hill. It is an important entrance gate for Baba Amarnath yatra.
Gadsar Lake, Satsar Lake, glaciers and Sindh river are some of the well known tourists destination of Sonamarg.From sonamarg get back to Srinagar again.
Day 04 : Drive Srinagar - Pahalgam - Srinagar
Now the next destination is Pahalgam which is about 95 km from Srinagar. It is one of most popular hill resort in Kashmir.
It offers breathtaking panoramic views of the beautiful Himalayan Ranges.
Apart from this, it is a perfect place for adventurous activities like golf, horse riding, trekking and many water sports. You can visit here from Srinagar by crossing through the Saffron fields at Pampore
It is a beautiful drive through villages & farm land and will pass along the river Jehlum at certain points till you reach Martand natural springs. The crystal clear water of these springs has medicinal properties and home to only Sun temple on the top of hill in the valley. Stay overnight.
Day 05 : Darshans of Matta Kheerbhawani
The temple of matta kheerbhawani is located in Maheshaspora, Tullumullu which is 25 km from the Srinagar city.The temple is devoted to the Goddess Rangana Devi.
Day 06 : Srinagar Departure
After breakfast visit the World famous Mughal Garden These gardens are developed by Mughal emperor Jahangir when they fall in love with the valley and said "If there is heaven on earth
You can also take a ride of nearby area around Dal lake.After such an enjoyable and beautiful ride, you can get back to home by taking a flight from Srinagar airport.
